If I remember right from iOS 6, the point of browserchooser was that it would open homescreen bookmarks in Chrome. Do I have a buggy device/download, or is that not something browserchooser does any more? Because absolutely no links or homescreen bookmarks or ANYTHING opens in chrome (with the exception of google apps, but that's a standard feature even without browserchooser).
