I'm trying to talk to a person using AOL instant messenger on a PC and I'm using iChat AV on my ibook OS 10.4 and theres no option of allowing mee to voice chat with her. why not? and if there is no answer does anyone know of an application that would work instead?
thanks a lot

sadly you cant audio chat with pc users, at least that i know of (using ichat.) have you considered skype? also if you have a power mac or mini (not sure about the mini) it doesnt have a built-in mic, but you probably knew that already :)

can you chat with MSN users using iChat? :p

Cant audio chat with PC users? BS, I do it every day. audio AND video chat with AIM PC users.

you need to make sure your fellow PC friend has the latest version of the real AIM client. Thats the only problem I ever ran into.
