Why doesn't iPhone have snooze for calendar?

It's been asked a million times before in this forum.. And I finally found the answer today.

RIM owns the patent...

I'd be curious to know if Apple pays any royalties today to RIM for other patents they own... If so, then what's another penny or two for an important function like snooze?

If not, I can understand... Steve Jobs doesn't like paying his competitors money...

Is there an app to snooze? On Apple Store?
