i cant believe it! my isight doesnt work! i have never had any problems with an apple computer before and i hope im just overlooking something simple...

anyone have any ideas as to why the isight doesnt work on my macbook? when i open photobooth it just says that the camera is in use by another app, and it wont recognise it in imoviehd...
this is so embarrasing, my flatmates are pc users and if i have to take my 2 week old mac in then they wil have a field day!

what can i do? please help!
thanks

Doing the Safe Boot fixed my problem with iSight

When I opened photobooth iSight wouldn't turn on/work. I tried using it with iMovie and it said I didn't have a camera connected etc.

I tried the tip i read on this forum, about doing the Safe Boot, and it worked like a charm!

Here's the step by step from the Mac page:

I hope it works for you too!
