iPod touch Why doesn't wallpaper show up on 2.0 upgrade

I upgraded my ipod touch it was jailbroken before now I have the 2.0 firmware.Why is it that when you go to set as wallpaper and nothing happens.What is the point of that button?I do miss not being able to download from youtube or use that cool netflix app.

Wallpaper is shown on the locked screen like the previous versions, you can't set a custom picture on the default screens which is what your thinking of.
