All iPads Why don't they advertise the iPad 4?

I've not seen a single commercial for the iPad 4, not one. In fact, is it really called iPad 4, or is it still the new iPad?

In which case, what will the next iPad be called?

Is the iPad mini considered the iPad 5?

It's not actually called the iPad 4 at all. In fact, it's a misnomer. What really happened, was an elderly woman was in an Apple Store and picked up one of those little tablets and said "What's an iPad for?" and the name has stuck ever since.

Also, the iPad mini is not the iPad 5. It's actually the iPod touch Extreme. At the last minute, Apple marketing decided re-branding it as another iPad made more sense, as it would force Samsung to develop a new identical competitor.

Hmm.. interesting. I do see a lot of elderly people in Apple's stores more often now. And iPod Extreme does make sense.
