Why don't they allow videos in the App Store?

I feel like this would greatly enhance a developer's ability to charge console or PC type prices... there are plenty of people who would pay $29.99 for a really sweet iPad experience.. and that value is tough to convey in 5 images.

Why is apple seemingly dropping the ball here?



PS - This is my first post in yeaaars... my signature has "iPhone" like its a unique piece of hardware to have - lol

I agree - gameplay videos would be awesome and would definitely help app sales imo.

I'm still waiting for Apple to allow fullscreen screenshots again; I can't stand swiping through slightly downres-ed sample images.

For a moment I thought you were asking why Apple doesn't allow developers to distribute videos in the App Store.

Anyways, that'd be nice.
