For starters Im going to be taking my macbook to school everyday and I think the 15 istoo heavy. Second, with the money I save, Im gonna buy a external graphics card to hook up to my macbook. This would be for home gamng.

I got it because I can upgrade myself.

In a couple of years, there will be no upgradeable portable macs, then this thing will cost a fortune ;)

I don't think there are any external gfx cards that work with macs yet, and the 15" is pretty easy to take around school, you should have gone with the 15" if you wanted dedicated gfx

I wonder consider a 13inch if the screen resolution wasn't worse than the air.

Just get the refurbished Late 2011 Mac Book Pro 15'. The screen is bigger and easier to upgrade down the road. If money is a concern then that's your best route the 13' will be too small for game play IMO.
