Every time apple releases a new Macbook Pro - or any notebook design - it makes whatever I have suddenly look like a turd.

I don't understand how they do it. I'm sure it's some subtle marketing genius, but my lovely aluminum Macbook Pro from last year suddenly looks clunky and dull.

I posted about this back in January on my then fledgling blog when the air was announced.

*sigh*

They got me again.

^ It does look a bit like you're just trying to generate extra clicks for your blog but I wouldn't go so far as to call it spam.

mmmm yummy i like spam too!

Its a matter of personal opinion. With the screen closed the new MBP it looks brilliant, with that LCD open and shining in my face it looks like a massive turd.

WHY couldn't they keep the bezel silver...it looks really cheap and tacky now. and WHY did they put chicklet keys on the pro. the old macbook pro design looks so much better in my eyes

hahaha..

Yup, I know your clunky and dull MBP when I bought my MBP May2008 :D,

now.. anyone wants my newly bought (almost clunky and dull) MBP?
I'll sell it cheap, how about USD2,400. hehe...
for the specs, look at my signature below. That's about $300 cheaper than the current MBP17".. mwahaha

Hmm.. does the guy attaching spam image is a Spammer? ;)

Should I have just pasted the text into the topic rather than linking to the blog? I have generated a MASSIVE number of hits here from the Mac Forums > Apple Hardware > Notebooks > Macbook Pro, Powerbook - top level forum.

How crafty of me to hide it all the way down here.

Jeez.

People are bitchy and temperamental at the moment. Whenever someone is "new" and posts a link to a personal blog/site or something for sale or the like it can be taken for spam/fishing for clicks and such. Don't take it too personally under the circumstances.

I thought it seemed innocent enough just based on the fact that you have other non-fishy posts, you wrote the original several months back and have a point. ;) Apple are indeed crafty bastids and they'll get you every time. :D
