Hi!

When I saw the iPhone 6 Plus my thoughs were, this will be great for surfing websites.

But have you tried the Galaxy Note or any phone with a big screen? All you get is a webpage with really large text and large images.

This is probably because everyone assumes that devices smaller than 768px are mobile and show the small mobile version.

There needs to be a setting to never show mobile versions of sites. I think they are very annoying and always want to see the full version of the site.

What exactly is the issue here?

The problem is unless people start optimizing webpages for the iPhone 6 Plus you will end up with just upscaled webpages:

Even crappy amateur blogs use responsive design now. Doesn't matter what the screen size is.

What I was thinking. Most sites use bootstrap or some form of responsive design. The way iOS zooms in to double tapped text areas. Generally I just do that on the non mobile versions to begin with.

Congratulations on your purchase decision.

Perhaps that is all you needed was a pat on the back.

I bet one getting the Plus is not going to find it easy to exchange for a 6 because of overall demand. Food for thought.

Do any stores have iPhone 6 on display yet?

Maybe some supervisors have one but none on display.
