I returned my air for a rMINI and the only reason was availability of cases and accessories. The one thing I hate about being an early adopter is that accessories suck and thats the only reason. Both are beautiful and get the job done.

Seems a tad strange but whatever works for you. When I bought my ipad 1 years ago I purchased a $5 sleeve for it. Used it again for the ipad 2 and later the 3 and it will house whichever ipad I buy next. This buying unique accessories for each and every upgrade is for the birds.

I understand that motivation. I am thinking of trading my new Air for my husbands iPad 4, because I have so many cases for it. I am a case collector. My children love it because they never have to buy a case. Just go by mom's house and pick through the collection :)

I will soon vacate this forum and leave it to the kids. This place is getting ridiculous weekly.

These things are tablet computers and not Barbie dolls.

I know it sounds bad but its true. The iPad air is so nice but all the cases make it huge or they are terrible. Im not going to go case less for a $500 device.

So, you found cases other than the Apple Smart case for the Retina Mini that DON'T cover up the second microphone on the back? By all means....let us Retina Mini owners know the names of those cases.

No I didn't, I am using an ifrogz and I just used my dremel to make a small hole. It looks factory. Any other smart questions? Please feel free to ask away.

So there aren't ANY Mini cases other than the 1 Apple case that don't require the use of a Dremel tool to drill a hole in it. And how many different Air cases are available that don't require the use of power tools to function properly?

Doesn't matter. 99% iPad air cases are garbage and will be that way for a few months. rMINI has so many choices its actually hard to pick. No harm in having to put a hole in the case, or just leaving it.

All the iPad air case turn it back into a tank. Except the smart cover which sucks to high heaven.

I don't know what you mean by"lack" of cases, ebay has 100's of different styles for the air to choose from.
I've already ordered several different cases for my air and they are nice cases.
All it takes is a little shopping around and you will find all kinds of cases:p

Case?

Why does everyone think an iPad needs a case? Get a smart cover (not case) and be happy with life. It was well designed to be handled - with no case... ever.

Please prove sort, based on that math problem. Do you come up with a different answer?

Perhaps he wasn't saying that he got a different result, but rather that it would seem more natural to just multiply 2003 by 2, rather than add 2003 to 2003.
I think most people would do (n * 2) before thinking about doing (n + n).
