I have purchase a new macbook pro 2011, and transferred my solid state drive from the old 2009 macbook, (which was showing the same problems) to the new one, and I am still seeing the same sluggish behavior, freezing, and having to hard reset frequently. So I did a factory reset of the SSD, and it seemed to be running faster initially, but in short time I see it is still showing some of the same problem issues. Could this be the fault of the SSD? I thought these things were supposed to be higher quality than an HDD. Is there a way to test it to see if it could be causing the problem, or what might be causing this? Thank you all for your thoughts.
