Why is Edge saying I am Running macOS 10.15

When I am running macOS 11.7.10 Big Sur but on Microsoft Edge it says "to get further updates you need to run macOS 11, this computer is running macOS 10.15" my Macbook Air came with Big Sur installed.

For complicated and historical reasons, web browsers on macOS report OS version as 10.15. Good explanation

yep, I think that is it, after searching around on the internet a bit. when I checked at edge://version/ it says on there that my OS is macOS 11.7.10 but it also reports that the User Agent is Intel Mac OSX 10.15.7

It does say that my Microsoft Edge is up to Date, so I guess I can still use edge anyway at least for now..
