Hey guys, here's the ultra short version:
- I have an iMovie library on an external drive. It works but sometimes it's laggy
- I built up a new Mac Pro w NVME drives, and want to one as a work/scratch disk for smoother editing.
- I create a new library on my new work disk (let's call it hyperdisk)
- Anything I import, even when using the Hyperdisk library, goes into my OLD external drive.
- If I copy a project from one library to another, it says it copies, but it just copies the project, none of the actual media.
- If I disconnect my external drive, all of my clips disappear because iMovie can't find them
Why is this happening? How do I force iMovie to import things into the new library location, and stop using my external drive?
