Why is iSync so limited?

Why is iSync so limited to only iCal/Address Book entries?

Why can't it sync specified folders, files and images I specify to my iPod, as well as my e-mail?

It just seems like a great utility, that isn't being used to it's fullest.

If it can sync iCal, it should sync Mail too.

It will do a lot more in Tiger including Mail. That's what I'm waiting for.

Also, hopefully better support for mobile phones. I can't sync my Nokia 6630. I have done a little bit of search and found I'm not the only one with this problem. It should be fixed in Tiger.
