ok so i got a mb and windows bootcamp with all latest updates...i simply want to put my computer on standby but when the screen turns blaack meanings its sleeping..i close the lid down and it wakes up again. i open it ..sometimes the screen comes up again bringing me to the window where i pick my username/log in name, other times the screen just stays black but with the computer on..(the white light stays on ..no pulsing). which then forces me to hold the power button down and restart. ive also get lucky where i put the computer on standy in windows of course, close the lid down and it stays sleeping/standby mode like what its suppose to do. its so weird.

am i the only one with the problem? solution?

I don't know what your experience with Windows laptops are, but every Windows laptop I've ever had has had this problem. Windows just doesn't handle standby mode very well...
Do you have any programs running that might keep the machine awake?
