Why is iWork broken? (Update: iWork ****ing sucks)

In Numbers, I added new categories and removed some yet the category chooser still displays the old categories like nothing happened.

Update: Found the "manage categories" thingie and updated the categories. Switched tabs, came back, and THE CATEGORIES I DELETED WERE THERE LIKE NOTHING HAPPENED.

It's official: Apple has ****ed over iWork.
