why is MacRumors still posting all video as Flash?

this seems incongruent with where we are at with all this "Adobe vs Apple" tech wars, and Apple's position about Flash...

(I figured the iPad section was as good a place to post this question as any.)

My understanding is that MacRumors simply links to external videos. They have no control over the format.

MR doesn't host the videos, so they have embed them from whatever source they come from...Flash or whatever else.

I think it is, actually.

Here:

MR doesn't own the videos, so they can't just go republishing them. Until the original sources switch to HTML5 I don't think there's much they can do.

...and here:

all our videos tend to be YouTube videos which are HTML5-ready.

I would normally move this thread to the Site and Forum Feedback, but since the question most likely is answered at this point, I'll just close it.
