Why is Mail doing this!?

Every letter I type on my keyboard comes up as this character in Mail. Whats going on????

That sure is odd. Is it only doing that in Mail? I looked around it seems that no one else has been having that problem.

You have a corrupted font, or your font cache is corrupted?

Does this situation persist after you reboot the computer? If so, open Terminal (in Utilities) and enter

atsutil databases -removeUser

Then logout (or reboot) and try again. Fixed?

I just rebooted and tried again and it seemed to fix the issue. Weird...
