why is my g4's screen frozen during startup?

Why is my g4's screen frozen during startup? also the time and date box drops down and then it freezes--need help thanks

dont be an @ss Finiksa

some dtails of your OS you sytem specs and wether the problem happens again when you reboot.

if it happens again and again boot for a OS X CD and hold the C key until then reinstall OS X and see if it helps it shouldent take more that 20mins
