Why is my HD Icon always changing spots?

I want my icon to stay on the top right corner but It always ends up on the bottom...It;s getting quite annoying!!

Do you have lots of other icons on your desktop, maybe even some very close to the spot where you want the HD icon to stay...?

And what's your Finder View Options (stand in Finder and press cmd-J or choose View -> Show View Options)? Have you checked "Snap to grid" and at the same time a large icon size...? Maybe even sorted the icons By Name?

None of the options were checked..I checked "Snap To Grid" Hope this works.
