so currently i am downloading a torrent file going at 600kb/sec but my interwebs - whether firefox or safari - is going intolerably slow- especially if i want to watch videos.

anybody have any reason as to why this is happening? its been going like this for the past couple days. something plz!!!!

Limit the download and upload speed of your torrents, if you allow them to use all your bandwidth, they will, and that will kill everything else trying to use the internet.
 
Stop using torrents; there are better ways to download. :D

Seriously though, do what Andrew Henry said.
