And not the brightness you can get by increasing the display brightness.
Everything is too bright. The browsers text, colors and everything.
It's not the usual colors of my screen that I see now.
Do you guys know how this happened?

Here's a picture of how it looks.

That's a post on Tumblr. You could barely see the links' text.
It's now white in color, when it's supposed to be a dark gray.

Can anyone help? :/
It's really hard to use my laptop now.
Thanks!

I clicked the link but I didn't see a pic. Can you attach it to your post?

Try going into Apple Menu > System Preferences > Displays > Color, and try selecting different display profiles. That won't fix it if something has gone wrong with your hardware, but it's worth a try!

I saw it. I'll embed it for you. It also took me a while to see what the image was.

Thanks everyone for the reply! :D
But my laptop's screen is back to normal now.
I don't know why it happened though.
And the picture I posted, I don't know but it's the usual colors.
Maybe if I used a camera phone instead of taking a screen photo,
you guys would see what I was talking about.
But really, thanks for the help! :D

It fades in to being bright? it sounds like the LCD is having issues. If it's under warranty still I'd take it in to Apple.

Yes, the colors get really bright, it's hard to look at.
Thanks, I'm thinking of doing that.

Try going to System Preferences
Go to Universal Access
Go to the Seeing tab
In the Display section move the Enhance Contrast slider all the way to the left.
Close System Preferences
