Why is my new 24" LED Cinema Display flickering?

The display has worked great the last couple of days but tonight web browser pages and DVD-video images flicker or even black out for an instant. The only thing different is that I moved my setup across the room to a different outlet.

Oh, and the 13" macbook is NOT flickering....

Hoe about a loose connection between monitor and computer?

Is it flickering all the time? I have one and when I have it at full brightness it flickers every 5 minutes or so once it has been on for a few hours. Look around there are a few threads on it. Quite annoying although it can be fixed by turning the brightness down one notch. Atleast this worked for me.

Connections appear secure.

Oddly, the monitor is not flickering today. I wonder if the power was "uneven". Would an uninterrupted power backup (battery) help?
