Isn't this supposed to look like iTunes and the new Apple.Com?

Is this maybe because iTunes is written in Carbon and Safari in Cocoa? iTunes uses its own theme while Safari uses the system default for brushed metal?
 
Yeah, I think the sagely-spoken 2ndPath hit the nail on the head. iTunes plays by its own rules; hence the separate treatment by theme changing apps such as UNO.
 
The default look for most Apple apps in Tiger is still brushed metal, henced the brushed Safari 3. A lick of UNO does the trick nicely, though.

Interesting. No doubt you are right. I never would have thought of this.
 
is there a way to change this without having to run a program like uno? just like the way you change appearance to the graphite look?
