I've been using Preview a lot today because I'm reading/studying PDF documents for a midterm. It was working fine an hour ago, but now that I'm looking at a different PDF document, it's really slow. The text in the document is small, so I have to zoom in, but it takes like 2-3 seconds for it to zoom in. When I scroll from top-to-bottom or side-to-side, it takes like 5 seconds for it to take effect. Anyone else have this problem and how do I fix it?

Buy a badboy or upgrade the ram?

Actually, it's working a lot better now. I don't know why it was doing that before. Sometimes it's slow as soon as the document is opened, but then functions normally. It usually does not remain slow for a long period of time... And no, I don't want to get a "badboy"... I like being able to carry my little 13" with me to college without it being too heavy because I also have books in my backpack.

I have a 500GB hard drive though, so I figure that's enough as it is.
