Okay, I don't understand this.

I'm running Leopard, Everything is updated to the latest and greatest.
I'm running on my 2.16 Core2duo macbook pro.

Oddly, While in Safari, No matter what web page I am on... anything that has to do with Flash player( Banner ads, YouTube Video box, myspace music player, everything flash) shows BLACK with a quicktime logo and question mark. I don't understand WHY safari is loading the quicktime plugin in place of all swf flash files on every single website.

Even more odd... it only does this SOMETIMES. I can close and open safari.app and SOMETIMES everything works right, all flash files on all websites load and work as they are suppose to.

I've gone through all of the quicktime settings in the player and in system preferences and disables all possibilites of Flash compatibility, but it still does this.

ALSO the same in firefox.

I've attempted to reinstall the latest flash player for intel os/x with no luck.

Anyone had the same issue?

any help is greatly appreciated. . . Started doing this for no reason what so ever, bugs me to the point i have to restart to vista sometimes to view a flash enabled website.

Check out this thread.

hello I've had the same problem. I almost archived and installed until i figured it out ..well kind of. check out this thread https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/382568/
the fix by Jaki worked for me but it might not be for someone who is just starting. Also the last fix by myself has worked for me. I'm not sure why but I'm working on that right now.
