Why is Samsung ram so expensive?

I didn't get a feeling it's more expensive than other brand names. I mean, last time I checked it's $25 (Canadian) or 50% more than no-name per GB but that's same as Corsair or OCZ.

I've never noticed Samsung RAM as being too expensive either.. maybe it's just that particular website you were looking at.

I have always brought Samsung RAM and always found it to be in line with other 'brands'. Slightly more expensive than the not so well known brands though...

I think it maybe do to the quality of the ram it might be really quality ram just a hunch
