I don't understand why Siri is so limited on the Apple Watch. There are so many things that she can do on the iPhone that she just won't do on WatchOS 1 or 2.
On the iPhone Siri feels like a real personnal assistant setting appointements, making calls researching the web for info, stats etc.
On the Apple Watch Siri can only perform the most basic tasks, she's basically for dictation basic controls. Forget about fancy web searches and stats you'll be lucky if Siri smart enough to hand it over to the iPhone through Handoff, these days I've been getting "I can't do that"
A couple of examples to illustrate my frustrations.. Now with Apple Music and ios 9 on Siri siri will be able to any song that's on Apple Music to start playing (if you haven't tried it you should really cool, also ask for top songs for a specific year..) and that's insanely convenient, but much less if my watch can't keep up. (See pics attached, sometimes it asks me to activate cellular usage, which doesnt make sense since i'm on wifi, but I still checked and the option is ON. Other times she's simply honest and says "I can't find that")
But you know what this is watchOS 2 stuff, so I understand it's still in beta now let's look at watchOS 1 goofs that still aren't fixed in watchOS 2 beta 3..
If I ask siri for directions home she'll give them to me, but if I ask her to drive to my mother she says she can't do that on the watch but will do on my phone!? WTF? Can you give me directions or not?
Still not convinced? "Where's Kim"
iPhone: checking the whereabouts of Kim
Watch: use handoff blah blah blah..
This has been a huge problem for me since day one and I had really hoped it would get fixed, especially with Apple Music searches coming up.
