...poorly stocked ?.

I've been checking the refurb store in the UK for weeks now and there are just very few good deals...judging by the threads I've read there should be plenty refurbs going around ... it's not the case though ?!?

why ?

I reckon apple either re-use parts (such as if logic board goes, part out laptop) or if its a minor fault replaces all exterior parts and sells as new.

Both are common practice, and only when the laptop is a couple months old will it get put out as a refurb.

Don't know bout the legality's here but I do know that I wont buy a new Mac anymore , no point ... current technology at reasonable prices without the 'out the box ' worry if it's going to be a lemon or not! .

..more testing done on refurbs ...apparently ...

is that so ?
