Hi
I just switched to a Mac. I realized that websites especially have a bigger font in Windows than on a Mac. After doing a google search it says its because of the difference in dpi(Dots per inch).

Is there anyway to make the font like Windows(same size etc), especially for Excel and Mozilla.

Thanks

Easy,
Hold down the command key (apple key beside the space bar)
then either click the + or - keys to increase or decrease font size in a window.

You can use this in a lot of different apps not just safari or firefox.

Similarly, in windows you hold the crtl + or - to do the same function

Good luck

It depends on what resolution your monitor was in Windows, i.e. if your monitor was 1024x768 and now you're on a 1440x900 screen, your eyes have to adjust to more pixels and smaller stuff. And DPI isn't a "setting", it's how many physical pixels your screen has. You can set your resolution lower, but lower resolutions tend to make everything blurrier.

Excellent tip! Thank you very much.

I am now using it on this forum to increase my text size.
