See the attached screen shot. The two rMacbook Pros are exactly the same except for a slight difference in processor speed and one came out in June of 2012 and the other in February of 2013. Any ideas why the newer, faster one is cheaper? I've heard about some screen issues with the 2013 rMBPs so I'm not sure if that is why. I would rather pay less for a newer machine but it just made me curious. Hopefully you don't all run out and buy up the newer one before I can order it :p

Maybe the same reason any retailer makes anything cheaper than another item? To sell it faster to clear inventory and stock?

That makes sense and could also support my hypothesis in my original post since they would have a lot more of the early 2013 refurbs if they got a lot of them back due to screen issues.
