Why is the 's' in iPhone 5s lower case now?

I don't like it, I think it looks untidy, but 5S looks a bit too much like 55 to me, more so than the 4S would've been at risk of looking like 45. Launching the 5s and 5C at the same time would've been odd, so 5s and 5c it was.

Ditto. Especially when you write it with a pen. It might look 55 or SS.
