Just curious as to why the UK is so far behind in LTE rollout compared to the U.S. They have significantly less land mass that they need to cover with LTE I was thinking it should be a quick rollout.
 
Because the frequencies that lte uses were in use by analogue TV. They first had to switch to digital, the decommission the old frequencies. They have just auctioned off the frequencies so now they are good to go. Many, like three have already deployed lte technology to their masts and just need the go ahead from the government to start using them.
