Why is the ultimate MBA 11 not in stores?

Apple stocks the ultimate models of the 15" cMBP, rMBP, 13" rMBP and MBA, but for the 11" MBA, they only stock the upgraded model with i7, 8GB RAM, and 256GB flash drive and not 512GB flash drive.

Why is it that they stock the 512GB version 13" MBA but not the 11" version?

It depends on the individual store. My guess is that there isn't as much demand for the 512GB 11.6", so they stock the 256GB model instead.
