iPhones are excellent in security. But have no option for call recroding and also don't provide dual SIMs. Can anyone tell whether any update ios there in any of the models for this.

Huh? iPhone 14 Pro and other models have dual SIMS. Call recording of phone calls without consent, in some countries, is illegal. That could be a reason why there isn’t a native recording feature for the phone. But I think there might be third party apps that does that. I’m not sure.

As mentioned above call recording in many countries is illegal or can be illegal depending on the circumstances.

If you mean dual physical sims then you can buy these in certain markets. Most markets have combination dual 1 x physical and 1 x esim at the same time or you can use dual esim and US have dual esim.

I would just add that in the United States, call recording laws vary by state. Some states allow recording if only one party (the party doing the recording) consents and some states require BOTH parties to consent. In some states it's also required that notice of call recording be given.

Exactly … as you describe in the US it’s complex and globally even more so. Which I’m sure is why Apple avoid it, although there are third party solutions as mentioned above.

Ref third party subscription based call recording apps do exist, however from my research they all dial another number whilst you make a call for it to be able to record your conversation. In essence it's much more secure and less of a headache to use an old cell phone voice recorder app to record a conversation from your iPhone whilst on speaker phone.

If there is a specific call or meeting that you want to record then schedule it via Teams or Zoom and then overtly record it with all parties knowledge and consent.

Yeah but in those scenarios ”most” people are wise enough to be guarded in what is discussed. The juicy stuff that most people really want recorded is not discussed over Teams, Meets, or Zoom.
