Why is there no option for MMS on my phone?

I know this has probably been talked about but I cant find it....But I have seen screen shots of the option MMS off or on and I dont have it.....Is there something wrong with my phone or is that another version of 3.0 that i am seeing screen shots of ?I have the iphone 3g and I thounght the option would be there but not available to use yet.....Can someone give me info on this...I would grately appreciate it....thanks

If you are on AT&T, MMS will not be offered until later this summer. We're still not sure when tethering will be available.

please its all over the forum. just read on how to get it done updating your carrier settings.

Correct. Like mocque said, there are threads on here that show you how to get around this.

Like mentioned above, if you update your carrier settings then it will enable MMS.
