This is becoming really annoying. I've been using my old 3g one (something pretty similar to this), but the only thing the transmitter will transmit to my car's radio is the iPod part. I can't make hands-free calls because the incoming voice doesn't transmit to my car's speakers, and neither does any of the sound effects in my apps, such as the turn-by-turn instructions by my GPS app. And now the phone has been out for half a year, and there really is still yet a working alternative.

Anyone knows any similar device that's compatible with iPhone 4 either available now or coming out soon? The reason I like that car mount over some of the smaller FM transmitters like the Soundfly and Satechi bluetooth ones is because of the mount itself with the really nice goose pipe and grip. I think it's just the audio adapter that's out of date for the iPhone 4.
