Why is this happening?

When I put my MBP to sleep apple: then sleep) and then close the lid, the computer wakes up! Anyone know why this is happening or how I can stop it?

I know I could just close the and then it would go to sleep. I do that sometimes and the computer still wakes up.

do you wait until the Mac sleeps? you should be able to hear the fans stop and the sleep light will start to pulsate. then close the lid.

do you remove or connect any USB connections after you close the lid? remove these before you sleep your Mac.
