iPhone 12 Pro Max Why is this still happening? (Mail) (please delete, from forum)

I have Mail uninstalled and spark installed and spark is set to default yet apps like Apple notes are still requiring me to use Apple Mail.

Because although apple lets you choose a different app as your default they still only integrate with 1st party apps. if you download keep or Evernote I bet it’d work as you’re expecting.
