Why is Twitter locked in Safari?

I do not have a twitter account, but occasionally read tweets. As of yesterday, ALL twitter accounts appear as locked on my iPad, yet I can view them on my pc. Can someone tell me if this is a setting on my iPad, or ??? Thanks!
