I don't understand how they have the highest consumer market share with such astronomical rates. I just looked at a comparable plan on Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, and Sprint. (family 1500 minutes unlimited text and web)

AT&T: $169.99
T-Mobile: $159.99
Verizon: $179.99
Sprint: $129.99

What's goin' on? Is there service really worth a $30 per month premium over Sprint?

Because you get what you pay for. Reliable service.

EDIT: i must say im surprised that sprint is even cheaper than t-mobile

It's not that much more expensive ($1/day). And yes, it is worth it. It's not VZW's fault Sprint is pricing itself into bankruptcy.

When you're in BFE and can make a phone call, that's why you pay that much for Verizon or AT&T. When I had a Virgin Mobile phone about five or so years ago, you were screwed if you got more than two feet off a major highway.
