I created a sticker pack for iOS (AutoCorrect Ducks!) and boom - it has been approved. Awesome - but the only purchases have been from people I sent the link to:
https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1279819312
Why? Because you cannot find it in the store! I set it up in iTunes Connect to be in the Stickers Category under Emojis & Expressions and under Cartoons and Characters as well as the 2nd category of lifestyles because I wasn't sure what else to put it in.
If I go to the Messages store and search for it by name, it will come up - but that is the only way it shows up.
If I go to the categories they're supposedly under and click under "view all," my stickers are not there.
I have a 5-star review from one buyer. I ran an update last night to localize for UK, Canada and Australia - waiting on that to be approved.
Am I missing something - or does it just take weeks or months for an approved app to show up in the sticker section? My sticker pack was approved a week ago.
I've searched for stickers for myself - assuming I was seeing them all - but that can't be since mine isn't coming up there are probably hundreds more that never surface. I have set up a facebook page for them and a Twitter and I can do Pinterest and all that's great - but customers like me search in the store for what I need and read the reviews. I'm not swayed by something I see in a tweet, etc. I can market this, but my goal is for it to actually be listed in the store so people can find it.
If you're in the regular iOS app store and type in autocorrect, it doesn't come up at all. You have to put in the full name for it to come up.
Has anyone here been successful with a sticker pack and having it show up in the Messages store? What is the secret handshake to make this happen?
