Why isn't my photos syncing

So I went to NYC and took a bunch of pictures with my iPhone and I wanted to know why they haven't synced on my iPad I have both devices connected to wifi photo stream is on and everything so why isn't my photos showing up on iPad? Can anyone help me please

This has happened to me a couple times, try turning photo stream off and back on again.

Usually fixes it for me.

Reset photo stream.

Also, it's "Why aren't", not isn't.

not sure if the OP has found a solution but i decided to turn my photo stream back on this morning and sure iphone is showing a photo stream folder but my ipad is not no matter how many times i restart it

U reset photo stream by visiting iCloud.com and going into settings.
