On the apple site? If this has been discussed before, sorry and please post link to thread.

Because the black one has black anodized aluminum. The white isn't. Black anodized aluminum does not only look better (my opinion), but it's also "new" and worth to show off. Nothing special about the white one... looks just like the white 4s... except taller and a metal back.

That's my reasoning why Apple is showing off the Black one more so than the White one.

Cuz it's weird looking. The black version hides the 50 holes near the earpiece; the white one looks bullet riddled. And the white's aluminum back looks makes it look like a Brookstone kitchen scale.

The white 5 has anodized aluminum also, just not black.

The real reason is the black iPhone 5 looks different from all angles compared to the black 4/4S, whereas the white iPhone 5 looks the same as the 4/4S counterpart except the backing.

Some people never learn.

History as recently as yesterday, suggests white will continue to plague & challenge Apple.

Either you let it go & buy Black, or you fasten your seatbelt, equip yourself with never ending patience, and _wait_.

Use any search engine you like to verify this.

I didn't capture the URL since I was on my iPhone standing in line at LAX while I read the article just over four hours ago.

Good Luck :)

This really has me thinking whether I want to buy the black or white iPhone. Not sure which i like more >.< What are the chances of them having stock in store incase I like the black one more after seeing it in person? I'm pre-ordering the white version.

Because black is the new black.

Rumor is too that since the new phone is longer it can't be white ;)

Worried for what?

I don't know, tbh. Im just thinkng that since they didn't feature it much, that the black looks best and white doesn't look all that great.

The 4s was my first white apple product and LOVE it, but wondering if it doesn't look so hot in the ip5.

The white i4S was showcased the majority of the time.

I think Apple is mixing it up this time around and showcasing black more.

I'm getting a white one, since I went black last time...

Though, I admit, black looks sleek as hell, and once you go...nevermind.

That's not really why they're not featuring the white iPhone 5 as much. They're featuring the black more for the newness factor as it looks different from all angles compared to the last two generation black iPhones. Not so with the white iP5.

Much the same way how they featured the white iPhone 4 more when it was released, to differentiate it from the black version that most people had at the time.

Sexy time.

But I have to admit the black looks better.

Ohhhh yeah. I think the white looks better.. I love how at some angles it looks white, next to the white ceramic glass, some it looks silver, and some it looks very twinkly. I think it looks magical. The black just looks very.. aftermarket? Plasticky? I dunno, I don't like it much after watching the video.
