Why it is like the MBP16" 2019 have to think for a few seconds before letting me to use an app?

Hi, since I got the MBP16" 2019, I have noticed that sometimes when I launch an app under Catalina, the MBP screen turns black and I have to wait for a few seconds before the screen returns to normal for me to use the app. This has never happened to other Apple computers I have used since the Apple II. What is wrong?

Is it all apps or only certain ones? There are some threads floating around here regarding this kind of behavior on the 16" when launching apps that call for the dGPU.

Seems to be certain ones. For example, almost all the time when I choose "Take a screenshot" from Lightshot Screenshot. It also happened to Affinity Designer when I opened a sample file yesterday and today. As for Photo, it happened yesterday too.
