I have android and ios devices and I tend to watch more film on android over ios.

the reason?

I can rent more in android where I have to buy in ios/itunes.

is there a reason for this?

I would bet its down to copyright holders decisions on that..

Makes me mad. Apple has "exclusives" but half the time u can only purchase them.. not rent them.. which would be basically what u could probably rent them normally anyway. so for me, they are not even excludes because i cannot 'rent' them.

Just because of this and less renting , more buying, i fled renting anything on iTunes now..... Its a shame, but Apple just lost me. Perhaps their "in house" TV show stuff would sweeten the deal, but i doubt it.

Thing is me and fiancee would watch a film once and probably never again.

so rent at say £3.49 or buy at £9.99 on play store
or
buy only on itunes at £9.99

needless to say we use my android tablet to watch films.

of course this is not universal and you can rent some films but less than on playstore.

all my fiancee music comes from itunes and not playstore though
