Why Login Password doesn’t work after restore?

Guys,
I just bought MacBook Pro M1 and did the restore from external hard drive (a backup residing from my last company owned MacBook Pro Intel based). After successful restore/migration data completed, I tried to login with my last company account credentials but it doesn’t work. Note: I left the company and handed over my last laptop (Pro Intel based) to them.

what is the solution to overcome?

Is my account credentials deactivated or M1 doesn’t recognize or what?

Logging into to what? Laptop, iCloud, company network?

Laptop.... when I try to start the laptop, it asks for the password where it already shows my name as “login username”, which I cannot change.
