Why .Mac Mail?

Just a quick question.....Why do you like Mail? Why is it better than Thunderbird or Entourage.

Are you talking about .Mac mail (the web/IMAP mail service) or Apple Mail.app (the mail reader app in OSX). They are not the same thing

I don't use the service, but like the OS level integration of Mail.app, and its fast loading speed...

I currently use entourage for my msn mail and its sloooow loading up the mail pages with web links but my mac mail.app with .mac mail is super quick.
also i love the spotlight search feature in mail.app

FYI, you can use HttpMail for Hotmail in Mail.app

I like the OS integration of Mail.app as well.

I like how I can hit the "Mail" button in a bunch of apps and it always knows what to do and doesn't hiccup.

Going the other way, I like to use the Media Browser in Mail to quickly find photos and videos I want to drop into an e-mail.
