This could go in both the iPhone or iPad apps section, but I put it here. so what.
Is it just me, or does it seem like, in general, iOS apps have far more bugs than Mac apps? I'll preface this by saying that I own quite a bit more iOS apps than Mac apps... I mean the ratio for 3rd party iOS apps (4 years of iPhone and 1 year of iPad) downloaded vs 3rd party Mac apps downloaded is probably around 50:1. Plus I tend to use my iOS apps quite a bit more than Mac apps. So those could both be huge contributing factors to what I'm experiencing, but I do think it's more than that.
And I'm not talking about small no-name apps. I'm talking about apps like facebook (probably the buggiest app ever), twitter, a variety of sports apps, weather channel, and more. And iOS apps are more buggy in spite of the fact that they are updated 5 times as much (a figure I pulled out of my butt). Many apps are updated once, twice, 3 times a month, usually including in the description "bug fixes".
Have you experience this? Why do you think this is?
